Biography

 

Laura Mozena graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors degree in Violin Performance where she studied violin performance and participated in the long term Suzuki Teacher Training Program with Louise Scott, Karen Hallberg, and Susan Baer.  Laura has also taken multiple Short Term Suzuki Teacher Training courses and is a registered Suzuki Teacher.  Laura has performed with such orchestras as The Flagstaff Symphony, The Palm Beach Pops, Treasure Coast Opera Orchestra, The Wheeling Symphony and PCPC Orchestra. Miss Laura's students have performed at the Kravis Center for "Beyond the Stage" and the Harriet Himmel Theatre.  She has also had students play the Star Spangled Banner at the Dean Stadium for a Cardinals vs. Marlins game.    Besides teaching, Laura is also the Vice President for Your Music Supply. Most recently, Laura has been presenting children's educational concerts representing the Grace Notes Music Foundation.  She enjoys  teaching and playing fiddle music as well as classical.  Currently, Laura teaches Suzuki violin with Cynthia Hinkelman with Lighthouse Suzuki Strings at Jupiter Academy of Music and the Stuart School of Music.
